Cypripedium Otto Danae primarily from April through JuneCypripedium 'Otto' is a 1991 Werner Frosch hybrid of the European native Cypripedium calceolus and its North American cousin Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens. Cypripedium 'Otto' is a vigorous hybrid, topped in early spring with large, lightly fragrant bright yellow pouches, each highlighted by three twisting amber sepals. Cypripedium 'Otto' is easy to grow and clumps well in the garden when situated in a rich, slightly moist, but well drained
