A distinctly earthy red and dark berry fruit nose shyly reveals hints of game and underbrush

with notes of spices and peat moss that reminded me of a Côte de Nuits wine

Domaine Glantenay, Volnay Le Ronceret Vintage:2021 elegant wineA markedly floral nose, and particularly violet and rose petal, is comprised by ripe notes of red and black cherry liqueur, spice and a whisper of orange peel. There is excellent density to the equally lush and seductively textured medium bodied flavors that are more robust than usual while displaying good length on the mildly sweet and warm finale. This should drink well a bit earlier than it typically does.
