Agave lophahui Nutty Professor Brahea The very dark greenThis lovely century plant hybrid originally came to us, unnamed from a grower in San Diego. After growing it for several years outdoors, here in Zone 7b 8a, we're fairly confident that it's a hybrid of Agave lophantha and Agave ocahui. In the ground, it's survived 14 degrees F, so far, and has formed a 2' tall x 2. 5' wide specimen, composed of narrow green leaves, highlighted by a muted, central yellow stripe, that's brightest as the new growth
