The spectator allows the magical entertainer to borrow their finger ring which can clearly be shown not to fit onto the shaft of a precious key. With some serious magic the ring then appears to melt onto the key and becomes impossible to remove. The ring has melted onto the key. Everything is then reversed and the ring given back to the audience member that allowed the magical entertainer to use
