Marroneto, Selezione Iacopo other_regions_australia 30% Syrah and 20% MourvedreThe Il Marroneto 2020 Rosso di Montalcino Iacopo (with 3,330 bottles released) opens to a darker garnet color and richer saturation compared to the Ignaccio. That extra fruit weight translates to aromas of plum and black cherry. The freshness of the fruit is intact, and this wine is very bright and energetic in terms of mouthfeel. The richer fruit profile sets this wine up for a plate of pasta with sausage or with drops of truffle oil.
