1. Launching a book in Malaysian that carries a number of my articles on maqasid al-shariah and civil state, and discussing it with Dr. Anwar Ibrahim and Dr. Siddiq Fadzil. 2. A training workshop on maqasid at the International Islamic University of Malaysia IIUM.
